The Camozzi Group acquires Fonderie Mora Gavardo S.r.l. in the month of November 2012. In the month of April 2013 the activities under the name of Fonderie Mora Gavardo S.p.A. start with the new and current VAT registration number.

Over the years different improvements have been made that had their impact on production systems, but above all in terms of Environmental Sustainability and Safety at Work.

Following you will find some of the most important operations that were implemented from 2013 to today and those planned for 2017.

 

OPERATIONS IN 2014

  • Installation of a new vibrating mill in the department “Large sized castings” with conseguent installation of a new stack emitting to the atmosphere (E27) with a capacity of 6000 mc/h.
  • Installation of new water based plastering tanks and new drying furnaces of the plastered brackets and cores.
  • Installation of automated movement systems of the brackets along the different phases of the moulding line.
  • Fume capturing collectors at the building with melting furnaces
  • Installation of new E13 filter
  • Installation of a new capturing and filtering sytem of the melting furnaces

 

OPERATIONS IN 2014-2015

  • Suction and reduction of casting and cooling operations (medium sized castings)
  • Renovation of the hand moulding department with the installation of a new IMF system, composed of new mixers for the moulding of cores and brackets of “medium sized castings”
  • Noise reduction by means of:

             - Revision of the motor of the E3 suction sytem

             - Installation of a silencer at the outlet of the stack

             - soundproofing of the exhaust of compressors

             - new soundproof E13 filtering system

 

OPERATIONS IN 2015

  • New paving of the waste area
  • Nebulization for dust suppression during handling
  • Replacement of diesel tank for working means of the foundry
  • Remake of furnace 1 and 2 and commands of furnace 1 and 2

 

OPERATIONS IN 2015-2016

  • Installation of two new soundproof cabins for the deburring of medium and large sized castings equipped with capturing hoods complete with filtering system for the reduction of fumes

 

OPERATIONS IN 2016

  • Closing of furnace area
  • Installation of new coating cabin

 

OPERATIONS PLANNED FOR 2017

  • Modification of the “automatic” production systems
  • Consequent installation of a new suction system (new ground/1 filter).
